Laura Rose founded Topline Training in August of 2008.  It has been a lifelong dream of hers to better understand the equine mind, and to create community for those who share her passion. 

Topline Training welcomes anyone who is interested in furthering (or beginning) their knowledge of dressage as well as how to train and learn from the horse.

Our Story

Laura Rose Heymann teaches and trains utilizing the techniques of Natural Horsemanship and Classical Dressage.

Offering lessons to both children and adults, Laura has a unique approach which concentrates on the partnership between horse and rider. Her practice allows the horse to become a more willing participant to help achieve the rider's goals.












Laura's training experience ranges from starting young horses under saddle to working with older, or previously started horses to develop a different consciousness about working with people.

Located in North Carolina, Laura regularly travels between Pittsboro and Raleigh, with other stops including Apex and Chapel Hill.  If you are nearby and interested in having Laura work with you and your horse, please contact us.  Laura is happy to travel to these locations and surrounding areas.
